Vanda coerulescens x sib (pink) 4in

Vandaceous type orchid, compact and native to Burma, Yunnan province of China, and the eastern Himalayas. Prefer to be grown in baskets with roots hanging down or mounted and are very thirsty. Better in high humidity greenhouse than home grown due to their watering needs. High light, as is true for most vandas. Will produce sprays of small pink blooms between the leaves with grape fragrance. 

Tolerant of extreme temps but prefers warm conditions. Spring bloomers. High light plants that must dry between waterings and be watered very often. 

Unless stated orchids will not arrive in spike or bloom. These are young blooming size plants. Pictured is the more purple form of this species.
