Philodendron hederaceum 'Brasil'
Plant pictured is representative of the one you will receive.
Potting mix: Well-draining soil/peat and perlite/bark mix. Good drainage prevents root rot. Repot in Spring once root bound.
Light: Bright indirect-medium light. Shielded South or West facing preferred.
Water: Water when near dry (1 inch of the soil is dry). Somewhat resilient to drying out but leaves will crisp. Bounces back easily.
Temp: Warm (65F-80F). 55F minimum.
Humidity: 30-70%. Not picky.
Fertilizing: Slow release fertilizer (Osmocote recommended) applied at the beginning of Spring. Alternatively, 1/2 strength soluble 20-20-20 fertilizer applied twice monthly during Spring/Summer. Decrease or stop in Winter.
