Paphiopedilum Snow Squall (Greyi x delenatii) 2in
A lovely compact Paph hybrid. Absolutely massive egg white speckly blooms compared to the size of the plant. We love a bowl lip! Blooms last 3-4 months. A great windowsill plant that isn't needy.
Photo is representative of blooms you can expect to see but is not the exact bloom of this plant. There is some variety in color, shape and patterning. This is a young blooming size plant (pictured is representative of the size), but unless stated it will not arrive in bud.
MOTTLED PAPHIOPEDILUM CARE INFO:
Potting mix: Coarse/fine bark mix. Repot carefully in Spring once per year to prevent acidification of bark. Be careful not to damage roots as they will often die off if broken. May enjoy Cal-mag application once a year.
Light: Bright indirect light. Place within 3 ft of a bright but indirect light source or window. North facing preferred. Shield from hot South/West afternoon sun.
Water: Water frequently in hot months when media reaches dry. Allow drying between waterings but don't let it stay dry. Flush the pot bi-monthly with clean water to prevent salt buildup.
Temp: Intermediate-warm (60F min night, 85F max day).
Humidity: 30-60%, tolerant of moderate-low humidity with adequate watering.
Fertilizing: Heavy feeder during the growing season (Spring-Fall). 1/2 strength urea-free fertilizer every other watering as new roots and leaves emerge. Decrease to 1/4 or 1/8 strength once monthly in Winter.
