A charming primary hybrid of Paph charlesworthii and spicerianum. Blooms are more pink than spicerianum and often looks closest to charlesworthii. Warm-intermediate grower but prefers warm. Enjoys slightly cooler and drier winter rest period. Does not enjoy drying out for long periods. Easily adaptable to a range of conditions.

Photo is representative of blooms you can expect to see but is not the exact bloom of this plant. There is a good deal of variability in flower traits. This is a blooming size plant, but unless stated it will not arrive in bud.

PAPHIOPEDILUM CARE INFO:

Potting mix: Fine bark mix or long fiber sphagnum. Repot carefully in Spring once every two years to prevent acidification of bark. Be careful not to damage roots.

Light: Medium-low light. Place within 3 ft of a bright but indirect light source or window. North facing preferred. No hot direct light.

Water: Water frequently in hot months when media reaches dry. Allow drying between waterings but don't let it stay dry. Flush the pot bi-monthly with clean water to prevent salt buildup.

Temp: Intermediate-warm (55F min night, 85F max day). Intermediate-cool winter and warm summer is appreciated.

Humidity: 30-80%, tolerant of moderate-low humidity with adequate watering.

Fertilizing: Heavy feeder during the growing season (Spring-Fall). 1/2 strength urea-free fertilizer every other watering as new roots and leaves emerge. Decrease to 1/4 or 1/8 strength once monthly in Winter.
