Paphiopedilum leucochilum x hangianum 2in
This is a primary hybrid with unusually pointed petals. The fused bowl lip and light pink center accent makes it particularly eye-catching. Both species are from the Thailand, China region and grow on limestone - so this is an alkaline variety. Alkaline varieties enjoy crushed limestone or dolomite lime application once per year (or whenever repotting occurs). As you will see over and over in the descriptions on here, Paphs are easy! Compact plant, but not a miniature.
Near blooming to Blooming size orchid. Unless stated, the orchid will not be in bloom.

Water: Water frequently in hot months when media reaches dry. Do not allow to stay dry for long periods. Once or twice weekly is a good rule of thumb. Flush the pot monthly to prevent salt build up.

Fertilizing: 1/2-1/4 strength urea-free fertilizer, weekly as new roots and leaves emerge. Decrease to monthly or less in Winter.
