This is an alba cross - will likely be more green than the color form. Something between the two pictured.

Cute medium size mottled-leaf Paphiopedilum that is native to Borneo. Grows as a semi-terrestrial near or on limestone and produces salmon and yellow flowers. Tolerant of a range of conditions. Very reliable bloomer. Produces quite a large flower (appx 4in) for the size of the plant.

Photo is representative of blooms you can expect to see but is not the exact bloom of this plant. Flower color and shape will vary - may have mostly yellow, may have more salmon. This is a blooming size plant, but unless stated it will not arrive in bud.

PAPHIOPEDILUM CARE INFO:

Potting mix: Fine bark mix. Repot carefully in Spring once every two years to prevent acidification of bark. Be careful not to damage roots. May enjoy application of dolomite lime once per season.

Light: Bright indirect-medium light. Place within 3 ft of a bright but indirect light source or window. North facing preferred. Shield from hot South/West afternoon sun.

Water: Water frequently in hot months when media reaches dry. Allow drying between waterings but don't let it stay dry. Flush the pot bi-monthly with clean water to prevent salt buildup.

Temp: Intermediate-warm (55F min night, 85F max day).

Humidity: 30-80%, tolerant of moderate-low humidity with adequate watering.

Fertilizing: Heavy feeder during the growing season (Spring-Fall). 1/2 strength urea-free fertilizer every other watering as new roots and leaves emerge. Decrease to 1/4 or 1/8 strength once monthly in Winter.
