Orchiata bark 4.5qt

Premium high-grade orchid bark from Pinus radiata. We offer a few different grades (bark size). It is packed and shipped dry (like all barks we offer) and pre-soaked in cal-mag. Calcium is a necessary mineral for uptake of nutrients in plants and is often present in scarce amounts in rain and low TDS tap water. 

Highly recommended for orchids that do not like to be repotted often as it will break down slower than other barks. It is also quite good for more alkaline growing varieties (such as lithophytic Paphs) due to its more neutral pH (normal bark is acidic which is preferred by most epiphytes).
