Blooming season (4/28/24)!

Miltonia Hajime Ono 'Standing Tall' is a lovely cultivar with 3-4in fragrant white and pink petals. Miltonia orchids are intermediate temp and sensitive to drought. A rewarding orchid for people that like to water. Smells like roses, blooms last several weeks to a month.

Blooms may vary from pictured. Blooming size but will not arrive in bloom.

MILTONIA CARE INFO:

Potting mix: Fine bark or long fiber sphagnum and perlite. Repot in Spring every year. Will not tolerate stale potting media.

Light: Bright indirect - medium light. North facing preferred.

Water: Water frequently in hot months when media has reached dry. Do not allow to stay dry for long periods (pseudobulbs will shrivel, leaves will readily dry and drop). Good drainage and air flow will prevent rot in lower light conditions.

Temp: Cool-warm (60F min night, 85F max day). Will tolerate 90F with >60% humidity.

Humidity: 40-80%, tolerant of moderate humidity with adequate watering.

Fertilizing: Light feeding Spring-Summer. 1/4 strength urea-free fertilizer, every other watering as new roots and leaves emerge. Decrease to once monthly in Winter.
