Dendrobium wassellii 4in
A rare Australian variety that does best mounted. They like wet/dry cycles. Currently being grown potted in chunky bark mix. Produces small white flowers in clusters and has interesting pencil-like fleshy leaves. Compact bunching orchid that is a fast grower. Similar care to Den. kingianum. Intermediate-cool grower that needs a cool, dry (not bone dry) rest period that is about 20 deg colder than during the summer/fall.
Small, blooming/near blooming size plant. Drought tolerant. Pictured are examples of a large mature plants.
