The cutest and most floriferous Den. Everybody should have one. Native to India and Myanmar, this species produces dense clusters of white and pink flowers. Quite compact. Does well mounted and potted (as long as it can dry between waterings). Semi-deciduous, will drop leaves naturally in fall and winter. Hot grower!

Blooming size. Plant in first picture is representative of the blooms you can expect but is not the plant you will receive.

DENDROBIUM CARE INFO:

Potting mix: Fine bark with perlite or mounted with moss. Repot in Spring once root bound. Do not allow bark to become waterlogged.

Light: Bright indirect light. Not picky but definitely likes a lot of (shaded) light.

Water: Water frequently in hot months when media reaches dry. Prefers to be kept well-watered. Decrease in winter for a light rest.

Temp: Hot! (70F min night, 90F max day). Likes cooler nights.

Humidity: 50-80%, tolerant of lower humidity with adequate watering.

Fertilizing: 1/2-1/4 strength urea-free fertilizer, every other watering as new roots and leaves emerge. Decrease fertilizing in late fall and omit or use very sparingly in winter. General rule: begin in Spring, stop in Winter.
