Spindly, elegant species from the Philippines. Produces large white flowers with a striped pink and green throat. Very nice mounted, will cascade down and fill with an impressive number of flowers. Will drop leaves naturally. Difficult to come by.
Blooming size. Plant in first picture is representative of the blooms you can expect but is not the plant you will receive.
DENDROBIUM CARE INFO:
Potting mix: Fine bark with perlite or mounted with moss. Repot in Spring once root bound. Do not allow bark to become waterlogged.
Light: Medium-bright indirect light. Bright North is recommended to protect from heat. Shaded West is ok too. Not picky
Water: Water frequently in hot months when media reaches dry. Prefers to be kept well-watered. Decrease in winter for a light rest.
Temp: Intermediate (55F min night, 85F max day).
Humidity: 50-80%, tolerant of lower humidity with adequate watering.
Fertilizing: 1/2-1/4 strength urea-free fertilizer, every other watering as new roots and leaves emerge. Decrease fertilizing in late fall and omit or use very sparingly in winter. General rule: begin in Spring, stop in Winter.
