Den. Spring Snow (nobile) 4in
A Nobile-type hybrid with large white flowers that are day fragrant. Smells like citrus and fruit. Blooms last 1-2 months. Nobile-type Dens will bloom from mature canes following a Winter rest period. May drop leaves during dormancy, this is normal. Blooms emerge from between the nodes and put on quite a gorgeous display. These are pretty easy and are reliable bloomers, especially for regions with good separation between seasons.
Blooming size. Plant may vary from the one pictured. Will not ship in bloom.
NOBILE DENDROBIUM CARE INFO:
Potting mix: Coarse orchid bark or well-draining bark mix. Repot in Spring once root bound. Do not allow bark to become waterlogged.
Light: Bright indirect - partial direct light. Shaded South or West facing preferred. Bright North is also acceptable.
Water: Water frequently in hot months when media reaches dry. Decrease dramatically in winter, allowing full drying between waterings. These enjoy rapid wet/dry cycles and require a mild Winter rest.
Temp: Intermediate-warm (55F min night, 90F max day).
Humidity: 60-80%, tolerant of lower humidity with adequate watering.
Fertilizing: 1/4-1/2 strength urea-free fertilizer, every other watering as new roots and leaves emerge. Decrease or stop fertilizing in winter. General rule: begin in Spring, stop in Winter.
