Cleisostoma racemiferum 2in

Mini orchid from Yunnan province of China, India, Nepal, and Thailand. Produces spikes with small yellow and brown flowers. Grows like a vanda and prefers having a quick draining media or being mounted. Good for terrariums.

Unless otherwise stated, it will not arrive in bloom or spike. Flower pictured is not of the plant you will receive. Expect some differences in shape and color. 

CLEISOSTOMA CARE INFO:

Potting mix: Mounted with moss. Potted in coarse mix or basket. 

Light: Shaded medium-bright indirect. No direct light without ample humidity. 

Water: Water frequently in hot months once the media dries. Enjoys a mild rest period of decreased watering and fertilizing in winter. Will not tolerate waterlogged media. 

Temp: Intermediate-warm (55F min, 95F max). 

Humidity: 60-80%, prefers medium-high humidity. Ensure good air circulation for terrarium or greenhouse growing.

Fertilizing: 1/4-1/2 strength urea-free fertilizer, every month as new roots and leaves emerge. Run clean tap water through the growing media once monthly to prevent salt buildup.
