Burrageara is an Oncidium Alliance hybrid (Cochlioda, Miltonia, Odontoglossum and Oncidium) that has similar needs to Oncidium or Miltoniopsis orchids. Burr. Francine 'Roseglow' has blush red blooms that fade over time into a soft pink. Lovely delicate flowers and a fun orchid to observe due to the changing flower color. Blooms last around a month.

Plant may vary from pictured. Will not be in bloom or bud unless stated.

CARE INFO:

Potting mix: Fine bark or fine bark and sphagnum mix. Repot in Spring once a year.

Light: Bright indirect - medium light. North or East facing preferred. Protect leaves from direct sun exposure.

Water: Water frequently in hot months when media is near dry. Do not allow to stay dry for long periods (flower drop, pseudobulbs shrivel, leaves crisp and "accordion").

Temp: Intermediate-warm (50F min night, 85F max day).

Humidity: 60-80%, prefers med-high humidity. Will tolerate moderate humidity with adequate watering.

Fertilizing: Moderate feeding Spring-Summer. 1/4 strength urea-free fertilizer, every other watering as new roots and leaves emerge. Flush the pot once monthly to remove mineral build up. Decrease fertilizing to once a month in Winter.
