BULBOPHYLLUM CARE INFO:
Potting mix: Fine-coarse bark, potted. Enjoys slatted pots or baskets. Can be mounted with moss.
Light: Shaded bright-low. Must be given ample water and humidity for brighter locations.
Water: Water frequently in hot months as the media reaches dry. These prefer moist, but well draining conditions. Do not allow them to fully dry out. Decrease in cold months and keep an eye out for rot.
Temp: Intermediate-warm (60F min, 90F max).
Humidity: 60-80%, prefers high humidity. Ensure good air circulation. Can be acclimated to 40-50% humidity with adequate watering.
Fertilizing: 1/4 strength urea-free fertilizer, every month as new roots and leaves emerge. Run clean tap water through the growing media once monthly to prevent salt buildup. Light feeders - less is more.
