The bearded bulbophyllum is native to West and Central Africa. Other than the distinct fluffy red flowers produced on long spikes, these have very round yellow pseudobulbs and maintain a rounded shape. Bulbophyllum orchids generally prefer high humidity and will thrive in low-bright indirect light. They bloom frequently in mixed seasons. Great candidate for vivariums and terrariums.

This is a mature, blooming size plant. Unless otherwise stated, it will not arrive in bloom or spike. Photos represent mature plants.

Humidity: 60-80%, prefers medium-high humidity. Ensure good air circulation for terrarium or greenhouse growing.
