Bulb. polliculosum (mount)
Bulbophyllum polliculosum is a SUPER mini orchid from Burma and the neighboring regions. It produces dual-lobed green blooms with red veining. When not in bloom it has flattened scaly pseudobulbs that do best growing on a mount. High humidity plant that prefers not to dry out completely or stay dry for long.
Medium light cool-intermediate orchid that's compact and would be an excellent terrarium plant. Can also be grown potted. Leaf shed is common and they will often bloom from the leafless bulbs. Tolerant of extremes in temperature but likes cooler - would suit the lower half of a terrarium well.
This is a mature, blooming size plant mounted on plastic placard. Unless otherwise stated, it will not arrive in bloom or spike.
