Bulbophyllum Daisy Chain 3in
This is a well known primary hybrid between Bulbophyllum makoyanum and Bulbophyllum cummingii. It produces charming yellow and pink whorls of blooms, spiking from the base of the pseudobulbs. It prefers high humidity and will thrive in low-bright indirect light. These bloom frequently in Spring and Summer. A striking addition to any vivariums and terrariums.
This is a mature, blooming size plant. Unless otherwise stated, it will not arrive in bloom or spike.
BULBOPHYLLUM CARE INFO:
Potting mix: Fine or coarse bark, potted. Mounted with moss.
Light: Shaded bright-low. Must be given ample water and humidity for brighter locations.
Water: Water frequently in hot months as the media reaches dry. These prefer moist conditions, do not allow them to fully dry out or stay dry for long. Decrease in cold months and keep an eye out for rot.
Temp: Intermediate-warm (55F min, 85F max).
Humidity: 60-80%, prefers high humidity. Ensure good air circulation. For terrarium growing, open and allow the vessel to "breathe" once a week or install a fan (for larger terrarium builds).
Fertilizing: 1/4 strength urea-free fertilizer, every month as new roots and leaves emerge. Run clean tap water through the growing media once monthly to prevent salt buildup. Light feeders - less is more.
