Brassavola nodosa x Guarianthe skinneri 4in
Brassavola orchids are known as the "ladies of the night". Their fragrance is sweet and reminiscent of lilies and vanilla but their name comes from the fact that they are only fragrant at night. Brassavola nodosa is a well known species native to Panama that is used to create many Brassavola hybrids. A great orchid for those with lots of light and those that tend to water less rather than more. Photographed are the two parents.
This is a mature blooming size orchid in a 4in pot.
