Pictured are the two parents. Brassavola orchids are known as the "ladies of the night". Their fragrance is sweet and reminiscent of lilies and vanilla but their name comes from the fact that they are only fragrant at night. A great orchid for those with lots of light and those that tend to water less rather than more. Can be grown potted but prefer to be mounted.

This is a mature blooming size orchid in a 4in pot.

BRASSAVOLA CARE INFO:

Potting mix: Coarse orchid bark or mounted on cork with long fiber sphagnum. Repot when pot bound in Spring.
