Alocasia Amazonica 'Polly' is well-loved, robust cultivar also known as the African Mask Alocasia. It has elongated dark green leaves with a characteristic ruffled edge and bright silvery-white veins. A gorgeous addition to any collection.

CARE INFO:
Potting mix: Well-draining soil and bark mix. Repot in Spring every 1-2 years when root bound.
Light: Bright indirect light. South or West facing preferred.
Water: Water when 2-3 inches of soil is dry.
Temp: Intermediate-warm (60F min night, 85F max day). Will not tolerate temps lower than 55F.
Humidity: 30-50%+, prefers consistent moderately high humidity when good air flow is provided. More tolerant of lower humidity than most Alocasias.
Fertilizing: Slow release fertilizer (Osmocote recommended) applied at the beginning of Spring. Alternatively, 1/2 strength soluble 20-20-20 fertilizer applied twice monthly starting in Spring-Summer. Fertilizing not recommended unless new growth is observed.
